1. Orders on kjot.fo

An order placed on kjot.fo is not binding until you have received an order confirmation from Kjot.

 

2. Prices

All prices include 25% VAT and are stated in Danish kroner unless otherwise specified. Prices apply only to orders placed in the Faroe Islands.

Kjot reserves the right to make changes due to:

Exchange rate changes
Force majeure
Delivery errors
Changes in taxes or duties
Sold-out products
Typing errors or incorrect pricing

 

3. General Sales Terms

The price shown at the time of ordering is the applicable price for your order.

 

4. Delivery

Kjot reserves the right to make adjustments in the event of sold-out products or delays from suppliers.

 

5. Home Delivery

The estimated delivery time for home delivery is usually 10–25 minutes, in addition to the normal preparation time.

The delivery price may depend on the delivery distance and will be added to the total order amount.

A delivery handling fee of DKK 10 will be added to the order.

Home delivery is available in Tórshavn, Argir, Hoyvík and Hvítanes.

 

6. Cancellation of Orders

If you wish to cancel an order, you must contact Kjot directly by phone.

If Kjot has already started preparing the food, Kjot reserves the right to charge the full amount for the order.

 

7. Payment

Kjot accepts the following online payment methods:

Visa
Visa/Dankort
Visa Electron
MasterCard
JCB
Maestro

The payment will be charged to your card when the order is collected or delivered, and no later than 30 days after the payment has been authorised.

Personal data may be collected regardless of whether or not you have a profile on the relevant social media platform. Cookies may be stored and remain active on your device for up to 2 years, unless you delete them yourself. Kjot has no influence over the cookie policies of these social media platforms.

The social media platforms may also provide statistical tools that Kjot can use to improve the customer experience on social media. Kjot only receives this information in anonymised form.
